Aviva Premiership Rugby Union club Bath Rugby have tied up a new deal with Good Energy and are set to be powered by them, it was announced after the deal with the Chippenham based firm was confirmed last night.
The team from Bath has been playing one of the best forms of rugby in the Premiership and is keeping the flag of England flying high in the European Amlin Challenge Cup as well, and this new deal sees them increase their marketing value and flex their commercial muscles as well.
The new deal with Good Energy is set to launched ahead of next Saturday’s Aviva Premiership match against high flying Saracens FC, and the supporters who will take up the initiative and sign up with them as a customer for Good Energy, they will be given a voucher worth £ 50 that they can spend in the shop of Bath Rugby. Good Energy has built up quite a reputation as one of the biggest firms dealing with renewable energy in the country and this new deal with the rugby club will seem them benefit from the use of more renewable energy in its Farleigh training base.
Dave Atwood, a representative of the club stated that this partnership of the club is extremely good for the club. He went on to add that the club is extremely keen to tie up with local companies that have ambition, much like the club looks at events itself, and Goon Energy is a fantastic example of what they are looking for.
Bath Rugby has been in flying form from the start of the new season and they have almost sealed qualification into the quarter final stages of the Amlin Challenge Cup and this new deal will make them a stronger outfit in terms of spending power.
