The Bath Rugby Charity Golf Day is one special event being organized by the Bath Rugby club.
This is hoped to be one interesting and fun filled venture to be held on the 13th and 14th of March. The booking for the entry of teams are still going on and it is fast filling up.
Matt Powell is currently in charge of the bookings and the registration of the teams. There have been notices and advertisements being spread around and currently there are just 6 spots vacant waiting to be filled up. There is also an option to book a slot on the phone using the contact number of the representative mentioned on their official website.
Everyone in the Bath Rugby club circuit hopes that this event will turn out to be a huge success and end up in a greater collection than last year. The Bath rugby foundation managed to raise over 5000 pounds through last year’s event and this year since it is attracting a large crowd, they hope to get in more donations and fund collections.
This year’s event is likely to be held at the 2010 Ryder’s Cup grounds and will include a team of 3 to 4 players with 1 Bath Rugby player in each team. The course will have 18 holes of golf and each will be using golf buggies. There is a 2 course meal prior to the event along with a guest speaker for the evening. The stay will be at the Celtic Manor resort and will be accompanied with a fully fledged English breakfast meal. A lunch and presentation session will be following the golf game.
