Jonathan Joseph just cannot wait to begin pre-season training with the Aviva Premiership Rugby Football Union club Bath Rugby but the player also has excitement of being a part of the England team for their Tour of South America before that.
The centre for the London Irish is among nine new signings who will be making the move to The Recreation Ground ahead of the new 2013-14 season and the player admits that the excitement of getting to start all over again is giving him goose bumps.
Joseph, who celebrated his 22nd birthday couldn’t have asked for a better birthday after being named the JP Morgan Rugby 7s Series Player of the Season, merely 36 hours after being named in England national squad that will travel to South America to take on Argentina in a two test series.
And speaking of his selection to the squad, the new Bath Rugby man stated that being a part of an England international tour with such exciting young players is an honor in itself and he feels very fortunate, before adding that he hopes he will be able to showcase some of the talent in Argentina.
He mentioned that he is also eagerly awaiting his move to Bath to be completed, mentioning that he is excited about the brilliant set-up they have in place and what they are doing at the club. He admitted that he feels that the club fits in with his style and that is what prompted him to make the move.
And the fans of Bath Rugby can also look forward to having one of the brightest young talents in English rugby grace the club, especially after the display he put up for the London Irish against Gloucester Rugby in the JP Morgan Asset Management Premiership Rugby 7s final last August.
